MSU-SND Alumni Tracer Privacy Policy
Mindanao State University – Sultan Naga Dimaporo is dedicated to protecting the confidentiality, integrity, accuracy, and security of your personal information. The collection, use, and management of personal data are carried out responsibly and in accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173).
Information We Collect
The Alumni Tracer System may collect personal information such as:
- Full name
- Email address
- Profile picture
When users choose to log in using Facebook Login, only basic profile information that the user explicitly authorizes is collected.
Purpose of Data Collection
The collected information is used solely for:
- User authentication and identification
- Alumni record management
- Improving system functionality and services
No automatic synchronization or retrieval of additional data from Facebook is performed.
Data Sharing and Disclosure
Personal data collected by the system is not sold, shared, or disclosed to third parties without the user’s consent, except when required by law.
Data Protection and Security
Appropriate organizational, technical, and administrative measures are implemented to safeguard personal data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.
Data Retention
Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected or as required by applicable laws and university policies.
